Pat Bingham
Head Coach 16 AAA TEAM

The Colorado Rampage welcomed Pat Bingham as their new head coach in September of 2012. Bingham, a John Brophy Award winner as the ECHL's Coach of the Year in 2003-2004, is the first head coach out of the pros in Rampage history.

Bingham has coached professional hockey for the past 15 seasons.Last year was his first with the Elmira Jackals, where they set several franchise records.Bingham finished with 45 wins, totaling 90 points at the top of the division, and won the Conference Championship.He spent the four prior seasons with the New York Islanders top farm team, the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers.The Vancouver native took over as Bridgeport's head coach in mid-November 2010.Bingham served as an assistant coach with Bridgeport from 2007-2010, contributing to the growth and development of the New York Islanders' top prospects and draft picks. He occupied that same role in the 2005-2006 campaign.

In 2006-2007, Bingham led the UHL's Fort Wayne Komets to the league's best record of 51-21-4 while advancing to the second round of the playoffs.Bingham accumulated two seasons of ECHL head coaching experience with the Wheeling Nailers from 2003-2005. He garnered the league's Coach of the Year accolade in his first season in Wheeling, as the Nailers notched the Eastern Conference's best record of 51-17-4. Bingham led the Nailers to a 38-29-5 record in 2004-2005.His early head coaching days included stints with the Adirondack IceHawks and Asheville Smoke in the UHL, including a Colonial Cup Final appearance with the Smoke in 2000-2001. Bingham began his coaching career as an assistant with the CHL's Huntsville Channel Cats in 1998-1999.The club won the CHL Levins Cup Championship. 

As a head coach, Bingham has compiled a career record of 335-196-48 for a points percentage of .620.

Bingham played professionally for seven seasons from 1989 to 1996 primarily as a forward, tallying 53 goals and 151 assists for 204 points to go along with 1,004 penalty minutes in 315 career games. He won the ECHL's Riley Cup in 1990-1991 as a member of the league-champion Hampton Roads Admirals.Following an extensive professional career, Bingham is experienced and eager to join the Rampage hockey program.“This is an exciting time for me and my family.It is my goal to contribute to the success of the program and help young people achieve their hockey dreams.”

RAMPAGE DIRECTOR 
& U 18 AAA Coach: 
Andrew Sherman

The Rampage's organization has experienced much success throughout the years under Sherman's guidance. The Rampage have won 5 state championships in eight years.

While at the helm, Sherman has guided the Rampage to the State Championship game in 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2008, 2007, 2006 and 2005 winning 5 out of 8. The Rampage has also won prestigious tournaments such as the Dallas Cup, Outlaw Shootout and Rocky Mountain District Championship going to USA Hockey Nationals in 2007 losing in the quarterfinals to eventual Champion Shattuck St.Mary's. His teams have never had a losing season going 266-198-56 since 2002. Sherman is the longest tenured 18U coach in the Rocky Mountain Region.

Sherman's involvement in USA Hockey includes evaluating Colorado State camp in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008,2009, 2010,2011 2012, 2013 Rocky Mountain District Camp in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2013 and Northern Plains USA District camp 2010, 2011 and 2012. He also worked and coached at the USA National select 14 festival 2006 in Rochester New York. Sherman has also been active with the Shaka Franklin Foundation for Youth and the USA Hockey & NHL Diversity Task Force Since 1998.

Before coaching the Rampage, Sherman was a certified NHLPA player agent and worked at the prestigious All Pro Sports and Entertainment in Denver Colorado from 1998-2003. He worked with numerous NHL and NFL hopefuls in preparation, contract negotiation and financial planning. Sherman worked closely with football greats Barry Sanders, Jerome Bettis and Eddie George as well as NHL players Michael Sykora and Josef Marha.

Sherman played professionally from 1995-1997 for the Lakeland Prowlers in the now defunct SHL and the Columbus Cottonmouths in the CHL where he retired due to concussions. Following his injury he remained as the assistant coach for the 1997 end of season. He also was the Assistant GM of the Huntsville Channel Cats in the CHL.

Sherman played hockey and attended college at Rochester Institute of Technology from 1992-1995 where he was captain in his senior year. He won a ECAC title in 1994 and went to NCAA's that same year. He graduated with a bachelors degree in Business Management with a minor in Minority Group relations. Before RIT Sherman attended Canton Tech in the NJCAA winning a National Championship in 1992 under the legendary coach Terry Martin.

Sherman, a Schenectady, NY native resides in Colorado Springs with his wife Amber, daughters Kesslyn and Finley and son Landon.
